Role: Regional Sales Manager – Denmark (Nordics) / ASD portfolio
We are also considering candidates currently based in Sweden.
In addition, the role may suit candidates who have not yet had formal people management responsibility, but who bring strong experience from Sales or Business Development Manager / SME-type roles, combined with clear commercial drive, leadership potential, and the ability to independently grow the business.
About the role
We are looking for a highly autonomous and commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to lead business growth across Denmark and selected Nordic markets for Kidde Commercial Fire portfolio.
This is a field-business development-focused role for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving market expansion through distributors, installers, and system integrators.
The position is heavily hunter-oriented, with a minimum of 50–60% of the role focused on new business development activities. We are looking for someone proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable operating independently in a dynamic commercial environment.
The role is primarily focused on Denmark, with future expansion into additional Nordic markets including Norway, while sustaining existing business in Sweden.
Main responsibilities
Drive commercial growth and market expansion across Denmark and the Nordics region
Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for the commercial fire portfolio
Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, installers, system integrators, contractors, and end-users
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the security and commercial fire industry
Monitor partner performance and proactively drive sales pipeline development
Collaborate closely with marketing teams to strengthen brand awareness and support product expansion strategies
Lead and motivate a small regional sales team while driving performance and accountability
Manage regular partner visits and maintain strong market presence through extensive travel
Support commercial strategy, pricing discussions, forecasting, and growth planning
Drive continuous improvements to sales processes, standards, and operational effectiveness
Candidate profile
We are looking for a commercially strong hunter profile with excellent business development capabilities rather than a traditional account management background.
The ideal candidate:
Is highly self-driven and comfortable working autonomously
Is proactive, energetic, and willing to take ownership
Is not afraid of challenges, mistakes, or trying new approaches
Has strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
Is transparent, collaborative, and team-oriented
Can operate effectively without constant direction or supervision
Has a strong growth mindset and motivation to expand the business
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
Strong experience in sales and/or business development within building, construction, security, or fire industry
Strong experience in hunter-style sales and market expansion activities
A few years of people management experience
Experience working with channel sales models, distributors, installers, and system integrators
Strong negotiation, presentation, and commercial skills
Ability to drive revenue growth and develop long-term customer relationships
Excellent organizational and reporting skills
Danish language skills are an absolute must
Willingness to travel extensively across the region
