Job Description
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the advertising revenue growth of the TikTok business. Our team at TikTok helps to nurture and grow the market accounts by focusing on providing high touch point client service as well as education on TikTok advertising products and solutions, thereby supporting the clients achieve their goals for both performance and branding objectives. The team works closely with cross functional teams in providing the best solutions to the clients in terms of both product knowledge expertise as well as vertical insights.
Our GBS - Electronics & Home Living team works with leading brands across consumer electronics, home appliances, furniture, home improvement, and related categories. We provide strategic consultation and advertising solutions spanning branding, performance marketing, e-commerce, web conversion, lead generation, and online-to-offline business objectives. By combining industry expertise with TikTok's innovative products, we help advertisers unlock sustainable business growth on the platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Brand Partnership Managers to achieve advertising revenue, client growth, and organizational objectives.
- Define and execute category growth strategies across Electronics & Home Living verticals, identifying market advertising opportunities and accelerating business expansion.
- Drive team performance through clear target setting, pipeline management, forecasting discipline, and business reviews.
- Build executive-level relationships with advertisers, agencies, and key industry stakeholders to strengthen TikTok's position within the market.
- Partner with team members on strategic account planning, high-impact client engagements, and complex commercial opportunities.
- Establish strong partnership with TikTok Shop leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to develop long-term category strategies, align business priorities, and accelerate growth across both advertising and commerce ecosystems.
- Drive adoption of TikTok's full advertising ecosystem, including Branding Ads, Performance Ads, TikTok Shop Ads, Search Ads, Measurement Solutions, Creative Solutions, and emerging products.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Client Solutions, Product Strategy & Operations, Measurement, Agency, Creative, Marketing, and TikTok Shop teams to unlock business growth.
- Provide thought leadership on industry trends, consumer behavior, media investment strategies, and digital transformation opportunities.
- Build a strong team culture focused on client impact, collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
- Identify talent gaps, support hiring efforts, and develop succession planning within the team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Media, Communications, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, media, sales, marketing, business development, or related commercial functions.
- 3+ years of people management experience with demonstrated success in leading high-performing commercial/advertising teams.
- Proven track record of consistently delivering revenue growth and exceeding business targets.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, media planning, branding, performance marketing, and marketing measurement.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders, including C-level executives and agency leadership teams. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and business planning capabilities.
- Business proficiency in Vietnamese, English, and Mandarin Chinese are required, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders from Vietnamese/International/Chinese brands, regional leadership teams, and strategic partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Electronics, Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, Home Living, Furniture, Retail, or related industries.
- Strong media and advertising background with experience across branding, performance, commerce, web conversion, and omnichannel marketing solutions.
- Experience working in leading digital platforms, media agencies, publishers, consulting firms, or technology companies.
- Familiarity with TikTok's advertising ecosystem and broader digital media landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, scale teams, and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Strong coaching and talent development capabilities with a passion for building high-performing teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution capabilities.
