As a Senior Manager Technical Service & Development, you will play a key role in driving innovation, customer success, and business growth within Arxada’s Paints & Coatings segment. Acting as a trusted technical leader, you will work closely with customers, commercial teams, and global R&D partners to develop differentiated microbial control solutions, support strategic growth initiatives, and deliver value through technical excellence.
In this highly visible role, you will combine deep technical expertise with customer engagement, leading innovation projects from concept to commercialization. You will help shape product strategy, develop intellectual property, provide industry leadership, and create solutions that address evolving customer and market needs.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead customer-driven and market-driven technical development projects, creating innovative solutions for the Paints & Coatings industry
- Partner with commercial teams and strategic customers to identify growth opportunities, develop innovation strategies, and deliver value-creating solutions
- Provide advanced technical support and expertise to customers, helping solve complex formulation and application challenges
- Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to support new product introductions and business growth initiatives
- Develop and manage technical presentations, customer seminars, webinars, technical reports, and sales support materials
- Drive technical excellence through strong project management, experimental design, and data-driven problem solving
- Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders and industry leaders to strengthen Arxada’s market position
- Promote safety excellence, intellectual property development, and mentorship of junior scientists and technical professionals
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- 5–10 years of technical experience with a demonstrated track record of scientific excellence, innovative problem-solving, and delivery of business results
- Strong expertise in paint formulation, coatings applications, and microbial control technologies
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into commercial opportunities and customer-focused solutions
- Experience managing customer projects, technical programs, and cross-functional initiatives
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated experience building customer relationships and delivering measurable business impact through technical solutions
