Job Description

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team is looking for an individual to join our consulting practice and play a key role developing high impact projects in the Caribbean region. The potential candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering and implementing consulting projects and solutions with issuers, merchants, acquirers, neobanks and fintechs. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both the preferred brand and unique business partner.

Potential consulting engagements could include portfolio management diagnostics, authorization optimization strategies, assessments of digital product and growth programs, development of new products with implementation roadmaps, optimizing client customer servicing processes, among others.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Project management of bespoke complex projects, working together with client facing leads and analytics
• Create project methodology, including storytelling and data analysis with insights and recommendations.
• Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges.
• Produce insights and analyses to improve client performance, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the payment P&L
• Structure project governance to ensure the timeline and execution of the consulting projects
• Partner with peers in VCA (e.j. Implementation Services, Data Science, Practices) and other functional areas (e.g., marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources
• Assist in driving and execute VCA strategies across the Caribbean countries, proactively capitalizing on regional opportunities
• Develop a business pipeline for our Visa Consulting services for key players in the Caribbean.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Incumbents applying for the role should be motivated, analytic individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics and high impact solutions to support the client’s growth and performance. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with clients and across the Visa organization.

Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, economics, computer science, business administration, finance…).
• Experience working in the payments industry or consulting services
• Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing incremental growth. Understanding of card and payment P&L and critical factors driving profitability.
• Experience in managing and executing complex projects that requires coordination of other functional teams.
• Excellent communications skills, written and verbal and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge and understanding of banking operations, including products & services, business systems and processes.
• Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
• Understand how to leverage GenAI tools to enhance productivity.
• Fluent English and Spanish
