Job Description
The Starbucks Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Starbucks outlet. This role ensures excellent guest service, efficient store performance, team development, inventory control and compliance with Starbucks standards. The supervisor creates a positive work environment while helping meet sales and operational goals.
- Supervise and support a small team of baristas and shift leads
- Schedules staff and manage daily coverage
- Train new team members in customer service, beverage preparation and store procedures
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, food safety, and store presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and place supply orders as needed
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly
- Manage cash handling, deposits, and daily sales reporting
- Motivate team members and encourage teamwork and productivity
- Ensure compliance with Starbucks policies and health regulations
- Assist with hiring and employee performance evaluations
- Ensure all promotional displays and seasonal merchandising are featured throughout the outlet
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English verbal and written
- Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail, restaurant or coffee shop management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and scheduling skills
