The Account Management team is pivotal to onboarding and ensuring the success of key partners on our platform, curating an engaging product selection for TikTok users. Together, we'll redefine how partners engage with customers through content and social commerce, creating a unique and innovative commerce ecosystem.
We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to support TikTok Shop in Italy. This role is based in our Milan office.
TikTok Shop is transforming how people discover and buy products. In Italy, we are building a new Discovery commerce ecosystem where content, creators, and brands come together to drive real business impact. We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to join our Milan-based team and play a pivotal role in onboarding and scaling high-potential merchants on TikTok Shop. This is a high-ownership role at the heart of one of TikTok’s fastest-growing businesses.
What You'll Do As an Account Manager, you will own a portfolio of strategic partners and help them unlock growth through TikTok's unique commerce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and onboard strategic beauty merchants in Italy, building onboarding solutions (including business model suggestions, creator affiliation, partners education) and set them up for mid and long term growth
- Design and execute growth plans for your partners, covering assortment, content, creators, pricing, logistics, and campaigns.
- Own revenue and GMV targets, consistently driving performance through data, experimentation, and iteration.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Ops, Marketing, Creator, and Policy teams to improve the merchant and user experience.
- Analyze beauty market trends and subcategories performance to identify priorities and new growth opportunities for brand partners.
- Lead internal projects to contribute to the beauty ecosystem as a whole (including campaigns, product launches, B2B marketing)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience in Business Development/Account Management/Content Creation/Social Media Marketing, or equivalent fields
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and customer service orientation and experience working in a client-facing capacity.
- Strong sense of social content (livestream and short-video is a preference)
- Deep understanding of the beauty market, trends, creators ecosystem, not only Italy, ideally also total Europe, UK and US.
- Fluent in English and Italian to ease communication with local stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong network of beauty partners and beauty creators/agecies.
- Experience or knowledge of discovery commerce in established markets like China, SEA or US.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- A fast learner with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly to change, and set priorities, multitask, and work independently.
- A proactive and resourceful mindset, with a strong sense of accountability.
