Overview
The IT Service Delivery Director, UKIE is accountable for the end to end performance, resilience, and continuous improvement of IT Regional Operations across his regions. The role ensures IT services reliably support business outcomes, deliver high quality user experience, and align with global IT Operations strategy, standards, and controls.
Reporting to the Vice President, IT Operations, the Director owns regional service governance, financial performance, vendor outcomes, and people leadership, partnering closely with global IT leaders and regional business stakeholders
Your role
Regional IT Operations & Service Performance
- Own regional IT service performance, ensuring services meet or exceed agreed SLAs, KPIs, and experience targets.
- Provide executive oversight of regional 2nd‑line support and service delivery capabilities, ensuring effective incident, request, and problem management.
- Ensure services are secure, compliant, resilient, and scalable, aligned with global IT Operations standards.
- Act as the senior escalation point for major incidents and service risks within the region.
- Promote effective use of technology across the region, including increased adoption of self-service and self-help tools.
- Support change adoption through effective service transition and user communication.
Service Improvement & Demand Enablement
- Define and deliver a regional service improvement roadmap aligned with global priorities.
- Balance operational demand, projects, and capacity to meet evolving business needs.
- Partner with the IT Business Relationship Director to shape demand, prioritize initiatives, and ensure sustainable resourcing.
- Support successful service transition, change adoption, and user communication.
Governance, Financial & Vendor Management
- Ensure compliance with global governance, risk, and control frameworks, representing the region in key decision forums.
- Own the UKIE Service Delivery budget, forecasting, and cost optimization.
- Govern third‑party service providers, holding vendors accountable for performance, value, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee regional asset and purchasing activities in coordination with global functions.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop a high‑performing regional management team.
- Drive engagement, wellbeing, capability building, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
- Extensive experience in IT service delivery, infrastructure, or end-user support.
- Proven experience working within an ITIL-aligned service management environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
