Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF), a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding LLC, is a leading provider of engineering, fabrication, and ship repair services for the oil & gas and marine sectors. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and analyze financial statements and forecasts to assess company and business unit performance.
· Monitor key financial metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards.
· Support budgeting and forecasting processes across departments.
· Conduct variance analysis and provide clear explanations for deviations.
· Assist in cost control initiatives and drive efficiency improvements.
· Develop financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and decision support.
· Perform investment analysis and cost-benefit evaluations.
· Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data and reporting.
· Support management with performance insights and actionable recommendations.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
· Professional Certification: CA / CFA / ACCA / CPA preferred.
· Experience: 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
· Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and principles.
· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling.
· Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Fluency in English (mandatory).
