Job Description

Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner.
  • Ensure the bar is properly stocked with supplies necessary for service.
  • Replenish ice coolers, garnish trays, straws, and napkins holders.
  • Ensure bar equipment and supplies are clean and in working order.
  • Assist with inventories and requisitions to restock bar items.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards
  • Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
  • Perform all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
  • Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and personal hygiene.
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns and advertising and perform model/presenter tasks.
  • Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue.
  • Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Basic understanding of bartender work and/or drink preparation.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
  • Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Preferred:

  • At least 6 months of previous experience working in a similar bar or restaurant setting.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain the following:
  • Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Food Handling Card
  • Non-Gaming Card

  • Work is typically performed in an outdoor bar environment.
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality.
  • Prolonged walking/standing.
  • Extreme weather conditions.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions.
