The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence leads the design, delivery, and evolution of enterprise analytics and reporting solutions. This role owns the BI strategy across data visualization, semantic modeling, and insights generation, with a strong emphasis on Snowflake as the cloud data platform and the use of AI and advanced analytics to drive faster, smarter business decisions.

You will manage a team of analysts and BI developers, partner closely with Data Engineering, Product, Finance, and Executive stakeholders, and ensure analytics solutions are scalable, trusted, and aligned to business priorities.

What you will do:

 

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI analysts and developers.
  • Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with enterprise data and AI strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by translating business needs into analytics solutions.
  • Establish best practices for BI development, data governance, and analytics delivery.

Data & Platform Ownership (Snowflake)

  • Oversee the design and optimization of data models within Snowflake, including fact, dimension, and semantic layers.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure reliable data pipelines, data quality, and performance optimization.
  • Manage cost, performance, and scalability considerations within Snowflake (e.g., warehouse sizing, query optimization).
  • Promote reusable, scalable data assets across the organization.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver executive‑level dashboards, KPIs, and self‑service analytics using modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Ensure consistent metric definitions and a single source of truth across the enterprise.
  • Drive adoption of self‑service analytics while maintaining strong governance and data integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to move from descriptive to diagnostic and predictive insights.

AI & Advanced Analytics

  • Lead the integration of AI / machine learning‑driven insights into BI products (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive KPIs).
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams to surface model outputs in dashboards and decision‑support tools.
  • Leverage Snowflake‑native capabilities and modern AI platforms to accelerate insight delivery.
  • Champion responsible AI practices, explainability, and ethical use of data.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work cross‑functionally with Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering teams.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Prioritize BI initiatives based on business impact and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data roles.
  • 5+ years of people management or technical leadership experience.
  • Experience / working knowledge of agentic AI applications
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse.
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Experience delivering enterprise BI solutions using modern visualization tools.
  • Proven ability to communicate insights to executive and non‑technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating AI/ML outputs into BI dashboards and workflows.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics, forecasting, or anomaly detection use cases.
  • Experience with dbt, Airflow, or modern data transformation/orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data catalogs, and metric layer frameworks.
  • Background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience supporting analytics in a fast‑growing or highly matrixed organization.
