As the Supportive Health Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through: 

  • Assisting the Nurse Manager, RN’s and LPN’s with managing the heath care needs of the individuals served in the agency’s Residential Program.
  • Remaining in communication with Program staff and management, providers, nurses, doctors, ER staff, case management, pharmacies, parents, guardians, advocates, school administrators and Agency leadership.
  • Providing direct support to individuals served in the agency as-needed.
  • Possessing knowledge of basic medical terms, proper medication administrations, and other clinical disciplines.

 

Supportive Health Assistant Minimum Salary: $21.73/hour

 

Supportive Health Assistant Maximum Salary: $21.73/hour

 

Supportive Health Assistant Schedule:  M-F 8:30am – 5pm; May be required to work extended hours or a flexible schedule with short notice

 


Qualifications: 

  • Valid NYS Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional in the I/DD field
