The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS/IPSAS
Deliver financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
Support accrual accounting transition projects
Reconcile and validate GL and trial balances
Contribute to fixed assets registry and related reconciliations
Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure data accuracy
Deliver high-quality outputs within strict deadlines
The key requirements of this role are:
6+ years of accounting experience in the Public Sector
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong knowledge of IFRS (IPSAS is a plus)
Experience in closing, reconciliations, and reporting
B’ Class Accountant License
Excellent Greek & English
ERP experience (e.g., SAP)
Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
