Pets Best is seeking a highly collaborative and relationship driven Senior Partner Integrations Manager to lead the coordination of partner onboarding, cross-functional alignment, and integrations workflows. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring clarity of processes, alignment on timelines, and seamless execution of integrations.
This is not a hands-on engineering role; however, it requires strong comfort with systems, data flows, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly communication. This role is ideal for someone who excels in stakeholder management, project leadership, and navigating complex, cross-functional environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the central liaison between internal teams (IT, Product, Operations, Compliance, Marketing) and external partners
- Lead partner onboarding, including kickoff meetings, timeline management, and expectation-setting
- Translate technical requirements into clear, business-oriented language for diverse stakeholders
- Manage intake requests, prioritization discussions, and operational readiness reviews
- Drive issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution by:
- Investigating and replicating issues
- Documenting findings clearly
- Translating issues into actionable requirements for internal or external teams
- Oversee API, SFTP, and employee benefits integrations, ensuring alignment with business and partner needs
- Maintain an inventory of integrations and ensure ongoing performance, reliability, and optimization
- Validate integrations meet compliance, security, and audit requirements
- Standardize processes, documentation, and communications across partner channels
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including workflow optimization and change management
- Act as the central coordination point for integration strategy, execution, and stakeholder alignment
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in partner operations, vendor management, business operations, account management, or similar roles
- 5+ years managing external partner or vendor relationships
- Proven ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading or supporting partner onboarding and integrations coordination (no coding required)
- Demonstrated success working in highly cross-functional environments
- Strong project management skills, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
- Hands-on experience with API tools (e.g., Postman)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated industries (insurance, financial services, healthcare)
- Familiarity with intake and prioritization frameworks
- Business-level understanding of APIs, SFTP, and data exchange processes
- Exposure to JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, or SQL
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and insights
- Experience managing escalations and issue resolution
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including:
- Business Administration, Operations Management, Communications. Management / Leadership Studies, Management Information Systems (MIS), Project Management or equivalent years of experience
Certifications (Highly Valued)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM
- Prosci or other change management certification
