Outbound Planner

• Develop and implement detailed outbound logistics plans to ensure efficient product delivery. 

• Coordinate with internal teams, including the Outbound Supervisor, to align outbound schedules with production, inventory, and other fulfilment. 

• Strategically plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize transportation costs and improve delivery efficiency. 

• Collaborate with transportation providers to secure cost-effective and reliable transportation options. 

• Work closely with the Outbound Supervisor to prioritize outbound orders based on customer demand and delivery deadlines. 

• Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in order volume or urgency. 

• Implement strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocks during outbound operations. 

• Maintain regular communication with outbound team members, transportation partners, and other relevant stakeholders to provide updates on delivery schedules. 

• Address challenges and delays in the outbound process promptly and efficiently. 

• Analyse data on outbound processes, transportation costs, and delivery performance. 

• Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for continuous improvement. 

• Ensure strict compliance with transportation guidelines, customs requirements, and industry standards. 

• Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact outbound logistics. 

• Proactively identify potential issues in outbound logistics and work with the Outbound Supervisor to implement effective solutions.

• Collaborate with the Outbound Supervisor and other relevant stakeholders to implement continuous improvement initiatives in outbound processes. 

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

High School or Diploma required. 

Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English 

0-2 years’ experience in similar or related field
