Maintenance (3rd shift)

Ridley Feed Ingredients, an Alltech company, specializes in thoroughly researched, competitively priced micro feed ingredients, vitamin and mineral premixes, and feed additives. Our customers include regional manufacturers, distributors, wholesales, and large livestock and poultry producers. We are seeking qualified candidates for a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician position at our plant in Mendota, IL. This position is assigned to maintain and repair equipment and facilities in working order to minimize lost production time and ensure food safety. Performing ongoing maintenance and completing repairs on equipment in addition to confirming safety standards throughout the facility. Primary Responsibilities Trouble shoot non-working equipment Installation of new equipment Preventative maintenance activities Maintain proper inventory levels of parts to minimize lost production Notify management when repairs are outside the scope of the maintenance staff Qualifications/Skills 3–4 years maintenance experience High school diploma or equivalent Experience in basic electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment Knowledge of the feed industry Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check is required.
