Job Summary Responsible for the day-to-day safe and efficient operation of cargo operations while ensuring customer service standards and contractual services are met
Your activities Effectively manages staff time to reduce dependence on overtime Ensures applicable safety and quality standards are met Maintains as well as up-dates company’s and customer manuals and documentation Implements and monitors the local emergency plan Develops and maintains good relations with customers and airport authorities Find solutions to conflicts and irregularities Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies Perform other duties as assigned Ensure deployment of the Corporate QHSE Manual Ensure all Swissport employees are familiarize with the Code of Conduct
It applies to all employees of the entire Swissport Group Monitor compliance with Swissport’s standard procedures (e.g. through regular inspections) Ensure safety rules are observed by all colleagues, subcontractors and visitors Lead and document incident investigations and the implementation of improvement action plans
Implement corrective measures within a timeframe adequate to the nature of the incident (e.g. audit finding, inspection result, etc.) Escalate decisions that require approval to deviate from Swissport or local procedures to the Station Manager Comply with the responsibilities detailed in the station's QHSE Management System Manual and the manuals under your responsibility and management, ensuring compliance with the requirements in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISAGO standards
Your profile Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in warehouse management
Demonstrated ability to manage P&L responsibilities and drive productivity performance
Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills
Experience in managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and team performance
