Position Summary

The Specialty Esters Operator III supports chemical manufacturing operations with an initial focus on primary packaging and forklift operations in the B20 Spray Chiller area. As production demand increases and 24/7 operations are implemented, this role will cross-train and rotate into the Specialty Esters Operator II Pumper position.

This position is responsible for safely and efficiently handling raw materials and finished products while adhering to all safety, quality, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all job duties in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner in accordance with site policies and procedures

• Load and unload raw materials and finished products from tank trucks, railcars, and box trucks

• Transfer materials between vessels, tanks, and processing equipment

• Package finished products into drums and totes as required

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and effectively

• Support B20 Spray Chiller packaging operations

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow batch, quality, and safety requirements

• Maintain good housekeeping and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Work extended hours and overtime as required by production needs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience in chemical manufacturing or industrial operations preferred

• Forklift experience required (certification or ability to become certified)

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work more than 8 hours per day and more than 40 hours per week

• Willingness to work 2nd shift and transition to a 12-hour rotating DuPont schedule

• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical & Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, heat, noise, and industrial equipment

• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
