Head of Procurement

Position Summary:
The Head of Procurement leads global sourcing strategy across fats & oils, chemicals, logistics, and indirect spend, supporting FA, Ozone, SE, and OB Segment operations while driving cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute global procurement strategy aligned with operations and commercial goals.
• Oversee sourcing of fats, oils, chemicals, and logistics services.
• Manage global supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
• Deliver cost savings and support financial planning.
• Monitor commodity markets and mitigate supply risk.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Lead sustainability and compliance initiatives.
• Drive procurement systems and governance improvements.
• Oversee inbound logistics and total delivered cost optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
12–15+ years of procurement experience with leadership responsibility.
Strong background in commodity sourcing and chemical or oleochemical industries.
ERP experience (SAP preferred).
Strong financial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree.
Global sourcing experience.
Experience with sustainability certifications and ESG frameworks.
Working Conditions:
Office and plant environment with travel requirements for supplier engagement.
