Room Attendant – Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops
Location: Kamloops, BC

Reports To: Working Housekeeper
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.62 - $20.69
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. In this role, you will help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality play an essential role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds and replacing linens
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, surfaces, and high-touch areas
- Vacuum, dust, and maintain overall room presentation
- Restock guest amenities and supplies
- Identify and report maintenance issues or damages
- Handle lost and found items in accordance with procedures
- Respond to guest requests and housekeeping needs when required
- Support the housekeeping team and assist with additional tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable performing physical and repetitive tasks
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset but not required
- Strong communication skills in English
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Working Conditions
Fast-paced hotel environment with structured room quotas and varying daily demands. Scheduling may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift and move items up to approximately 25 lbs
