About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Special Markets division. The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a key role in managing the full accounts receivable lifecycle—from initial order approval through payment application and collections. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, collaborating across teams, and building positive relationships with customers while maintaining strong financial controls.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be a trusted partner to Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting, helping ensure accurate billing, timely cash flow, and consistent application of company standards. This role also provides general accounting and customer service support as business needs require.
 
This is a full time, in-office position based in Green Bay, WI.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage end‑to‑end accounts receivable activities for Special Markets customers
  • Communicate with customers to resolve invoice questions, discrepancies, and payment issues
  • Partner closely with the Special Markets team to support proper account setup and collection processes
  • Review flagged orders and support credit decisions within established guidelines
  • Process customer payments (check, credit card, ACH) accurately and timely
  • Prepare and manage consolidated monthly statements for DSO customers
  • Maintain organized, accurate financial records and support reporting needs
  • Provide responsive support to sales, customer service, and internal stakeholders

What You Bring

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent accounts receivable or collections experience
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to investigate issues, resolve discrepancies, and follow through
  • Working knowledge of collections practices, credit evaluation, and compliance standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to learn internal systems
  • Strong organization and time‑management skills in a deadline‑driven environment
