We give you a world of potential
Are you looking for a role where you can build deep expertise, gain exposure across a wide range of business processes, and play a key part in regulatory compliance?
Within our Employee Share Plans business, you’ll join a specialist UK-based team focused on ensuring stock and cash activities are managed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements. This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of how assets move through the business, giving you visibility across multiple processes, stakeholders, and systems.
This role offers both structure and variety, with the opportunity to develop your career in a highly specialised and in-demand area.
A role you will love
This is a fast-paced, analytical role where no two days are the same. You’ll work with complex datasets to identify and investigate reconciliation breaks, determining whether regulatory breaches have occurred in line with CASS and FCA obligations. You’ll manage a varied daily workload, balancing structured reconciliation activities with ad hoc investigations, while producing MI, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to governance processes.
This is a highly visible role, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships across the organisation and develop a broad understanding of how teams and processes connect.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse stock and cash reconciliation data to identify discrepancies or potential breaches
- Investigate breaks and raise breaches, ensuring accurate tracking and resolution
- Produce and distribute daily MI to stakeholders
- Manage a structured workflow of reconciliation tasks alongside ad hoc queries
- Collaborate with governance teams and wider business areas to ensure compliance
- Seek approvals for shortfalls and support resolution activities
- Prepare for internal governance meetings and reporting
- Identify and drive process improvements to reduce future breaks and breaches
What will you bring to the role?
We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a detail-driven environment, and can confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll bring:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and interrogate data
- Good Excel capability and confidence working with data sets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a can-do attitude
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
- Confidence in building relationships across the business
- An inquisitive approach, with a desire to understand processes and identify improvements
It would also be great if you have:
- Knowledge of reconciliation processes and working with data comparison
- Understanding of CASS or client asset regulations
- Experience within share plans or financial services environments
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys diving into the detail, asking questions, and driving improvements. You’ll be supported to develop your expertise further, including opportunities to pursue professional qualifications such as ICSA.
