Job Description
First Advantage is seeking a Salesforce Program Manager to lead and govern multiple, interrelated Salesforce initiatives across business units, clouds, and geographies. This role is responsible for translating enterprise priorities into executable roadmaps, managing dependencies across projects, and ensuring consistent delivery standards, financial discipline, and stakeholder alignment.
The Salesforce Program Manager operates at both strategic and execution levels, overseeing Salesforce programs that span Sales, Service, Marketing, CPQ, integrations, data, and downstream systems within a highly integrated enterprise ecosystem.
What This Role Owns
- Define and own the Salesforce program roadmap, milestones, and success metrics aligned to enterprise business goals.
- Provide delivery governance across multiple Salesforce projects, releases, and workstreams.
- Coordinate dependencies across business teams, IT, vendors, and system integrators.
- Ensure consistent program execution through standard planning, reporting, and risk management practices.
- Serve as the primary escalation and decision‑making point for Salesforce program‑level issues.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans covering scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and resourcing across Salesforce initiatives.
- Lead program‑level governance, including executive steering committees, status reviews, escalation paths, and decision frameworks.
- Oversee multiple Salesforce delivery teams (internal and external), ensuring alignment to roadmap, priorities, and architectural guardrails.
- Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, vendor spend, and benefits tracking.
- Identify, track, and mitigate program‑level risks, issues, and cross‑project dependencies.
- Drive alignment between business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to ensure shared priorities and clear accountability.
- Partner with Salesforce solution and enterprise architects to ensure delivery aligns with platform strategy, security, and scalability standards.
- Ensure disciplined release planning, cutover readiness, and post‑deployment stabilization across Salesforce programs.
- Support organizational change management, including communications, training coordination, and adoption tracking.
- Prepare executive‑level materials including program dashboards, roadmap updates, decision papers, and outcome summaries.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in program or project management, including significant ownership of enterprise Salesforce implementations.
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects with complex dependencies in a matrixed organization.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and delivery lifecycle, including releases, integrations, and managed services models.
- Experience managing system integrators and third‑party vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, influence without authority, and align diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive‑level presence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated, high‑volume, or enterprise B2B environments.
- Exposure to Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or large‑scale CRM transformations.
- Experience with Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models.
- Background in enterprise integrations, data platforms, or customer lifecycle transformation initiatives.
- Program or project management certifications (PgMP, PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master).
