This is a unique opportunity to take healthcare beyond the walls of the hospital and directly into the community. As a Mobile Screening Driver & Registrar, you’ll play a dual role—safely transporting our mobile screening unit to neighborhoods across the region while also helping patients feel welcomed and supported when they arrive.Your work helps remove barriers to care by bringing important screening services closer to where people live. What You’ll Do
Drive and support our mobile screening unit
Safely operate a heavy-duty mobile screening vehicle to community locations
Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is ready for the road
Secure the unit during travel and maintain accurate driving logs
Coordinate with dispatchers to stay on schedule
Occasionally assist with loading and unloading equipment
Create a welcoming patient experience
Greet and check in patients for screening services
Collect and verify patient and insurance information
Enter data into our systems accurately
Schedule appointments and handle check-out processes
Collect copays and provide helpful information to patients
What You’ll Bring

Experience safely operating large or commercial vehicles
A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
Comfort using computers and learning new systems
Strong communication and customer service skills

Qualifications:
Required Education and ExperienceLicense Requirement
1. Valid New York State Driver’s License; and
2. Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and one (1) year of full-time experience in a medical office setting.
NOTE:
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
