
HR Business Partner - TikTok LIVE - Tokyo

About the Team The livestream industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become the next growth driver for TikTok global business. It also brings great joy to users globally and it creates a new channel for our creators to show themselves.
Specifically, you will:
- Partner with your assigned business unit and ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team;
- Consult with line management and provide HR guidance when appropriate, including talent development, performance management, and employee relations;
- Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions;
- Manage employee disciplinary issues and advise business leaders on how to manage each case;
- Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR operations, and other HR teams to implement solutions;
- Drive employee engagement agenda for the employees in your business unit(s);
- Plan and implement organizational culture activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources, as either a generalist, people leader, business partner, or human capital consultant;
- 1+ years of experience as HR Business partner in supporting Japan market;
- Fluency in both oral and written English;
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence, drive change and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization and challenge the status quo;
- Comfort with ambiguity; strong judgment and ability to make thoughtful decisions leveraging data and insights;
- Deep business acumen to grow businesses through the ongoing development and support of its people.
Preferred Qualification:
- Prior experience supporting and working in a tech environment is preferred.
