Job Description
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support the completion of PO management process
- Communicate with Brand, Regions and Vendors to manage exceptions and order change requests
- Support Direct Line Manager in the execution of continuous improvement initiatives/processes

Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):
As a Production Planner, you will support the execution of PO management process including PO creation, handling exceptions and overseeing the completion of order change request. You will support a sustainable performance Team by working collectively with Planning Team, Brand and Vendors ensuring deliveries are met on time
As part of the role, this position is responsible for providing relevant and accurate data, highlighting risks and opportunities, for internal and external stakeholders
To succeed, you will utilize both relationship building and strong analytical skill sets to drive decision making that ensures processes are integrated and aligned across all regions
Key Result Areas:
- Own the execution of PO management process including purchase order creation (where applicable) and change memo issuing in accordance with business requirements
- Analyze weekly exception and unconfirmed PO’s ensuring the execution of actions to resolve issues and maintain CRD dates
- Collaborate with Global Material Supply, QA and vendors to ensure on time deliveries, escalation of issues where required
- Partner with VF Logistics and Vendors to optimize delivery times ensuring on time delivery
- Measure & monitor factory KPIs and ensure that Vendor scorecards are maintained
- Build, maintain and elevate factory audit activities (where applicable)
- Prepare detailed analytics with clear action points on a continuous basis including production tracking tools to provide effective and timely visibility to Brand & Regions
- Monitor Factory Ledger (where applicable), ensure current year running balances are settled by the end of the fiscal year
- Act as a change agent/ambassador throughout the Product Supply and Supply Chain organization by building trust with various levels in the organization, communicate clearly and consistently business objectives and management vision
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or PO management
- Hands-on experience with purchase order management, order tracking, and change requests
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, reporting)
- Experience working with vendors/factories and cross-functional stakeholders
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, production timelines, and delivery management
- Good problem-solving skills with ability to manage exceptions and risks
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus
