Job Title: Product Manager – Food Ingredients (Commercial Role with Nordic Responsibility)

About the Role
Do you want to work close to customers and drive growth across the Nordic region?
We are looking for a commercially driven Product Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic food ingredient suppliers across the Nordic region.
This is a customer-facing commercial role within the food ingredients industry, focused on market development, supplier management, and supporting sales growth within B2B food manufacturing markets. You will act as the link between the market, customers, suppliers, and our Nordic sales team – and play a key role in driving growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic food ingredient suppliers across the Nordic region
- Work closely with the Nordic sales team during customer visits and commercial discussions
- Support customers and the sales team with ingredient recommendations and application-oriented commercial guidance
- Drive commercial growth initiatives and execute market development activities within the food ingredients segment
- Lead supplier negotiations, pricing discussions, budgeting, and portfolio planning
- Build strong relationships with food manufacturers, suppliers, and internal commercial stakeholders
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and developments within the Nordic food industry
- Act as the commercial link between suppliers, customers, and sales teams
Job Requirements
A highly commercial, customer-facing role
You will spend a significant amount of time with customers alongside our sales team and should expect approximately 60 travel days per year across the Nordic region.
We are specifically looking for candidates with experience within the food industry, preferably in food ingredients, flavors, raw materials, functional ingredients, or related B2B food sectors.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working commercially within the food ingredients or food manufacturing industry
- Is commercially driven and thrives in a customer-facing role
- Combines commercial drive with a solid understanding of food ingredient markets
- Is relationship-oriented and results-driven
