Job Summary The core purpose of the Workforce Coordinator role is to continuously assess changing work drivers (e.g. flight arrival and departure times) and make adjustments to the allocation of staff to cover the work on the day of operations as well as rosters beyond day of operations (with a 72-hour horizon)
The position ideally requires a well organised, dedicated person with strong administration and problem-solving skills with experience in airport operations
Your activities Review and plan rosters up to 72 hours in advance, ensuring effective coverage based on key work drivers such as schedules, load factors, and baggage/freight loads
Coordinate and monitor daily resources, allocating tasks to ensure coverage of off-schedule flights, bay changes, and disruption events
Collaborate with Duty Managers, Supervisors, and other key staff to keep the team informed of plans and operational activities
Create and update allocation sheets to reflect initial and updated plans and communicate these to the workforce
Develop and publish aircraft towing plans
Provide ad-hoc coverage for resource shortages through reallocation of available resources, call-ins, or additional hours allocation
Manage fatigue principles, work patterns,
/experience, and leave effectively
Review timesheets for accuracy and prepare reports on manpower usage, roster variances, challenges, and coverage issues
Continuously identify the most efficient and safe ways to cover work and meet service objectives proactively
Your profile Aviation ground handling experience, preferably with knowledge of workforce planning or allocation
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer software/system usage, including email, Word, and Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with peers
Effective planning, time management, and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication abilities
Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction, demonstrating initiative and motivation
