Job Description

Tasks:


E2E System and Digital Service development
•    Define regulatory remote monitoring system E2E development timeline. Setup project milestones as well as coordinate activities to pursue tight time schedules.
•    Define remote monitoring system E2E concept and seeking systematic solutions for different MB.OS platforms.
•    Define functional requirements, change request and KPIs, documentation requirement in MBSE (DNG).
•    Define System Functions based on functional requirements (e.g. Customer Function Effect Chains)
•    Define requirements to partner components, exchange and align functional requirements with all related components.
•    Take care of feature implementation, tracking progress and challenges and align on next steps to ensure delivery in time with high quality.
•    Define data transmission path and digital service technical concept and requirement.
•    Lead technical discussions and joint development with TCU, MIC and BB teams to define necessary requirements and interfaces.
•    Estimating and reporting on expected time of development completion.
System Validation
•    Lead joint testing on the digital service and off-board sub-system: define sub-system level test concept, test cases and KPIs, work with SFO/SW developers for each case realization and performance promotion.
•    Analyze relevant data to identify defects and refine the requirements, and drive issues fix for relevant findings.
Standard monitoring and analysis
•    Clarifying and reviewing China remote monitoring regulation standards technically and co-working with RD partners.
•    Leading system upgrades following new GB/T requirements and local standard.
Supporting and Coaching to Project Members
•    Instructing project members in tasks, changing requests and validation.
•    Giving on the Systematical requirement and knowledge to the project members;
 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or above, major in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, automation engineering or a relevant major.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance. Self-motivated and able to prioritize conflicting demands effectively.
  • Ability of system architecture (Physical, Logic Archi), system element component design, functional and non-functional design, SW 

    architecture design experience is beneficial.

     

  • Ability of requirement analysis, development and documentation, knowledge of requirement management.
  • Ability to solve problems, formulate a solution and drive this though to delivery in a validated manner.
  • Very organized, structured, and proactive in doing day and day work.
  • Self-responsible working attitude and initiative.

Experience:

  • More than 5 years of working experience in MB related to E/E system, telematics service or OBD component development, validation, and release; digital system function related experience is preferred.
  • Working Experience of function/Service development, backend development in MB is preferred.

Specific knowledge
 

  • Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German language beneficial.
  • Good understanding of overall vehicle E/E architecture, OBD development, MIC/backend development.
  • Familiar with the E/E system development process, have a full understanding of E/E System and ECU software development process, and have a certain functional safety (HARA) and information security foundation.
  • Knowledge of E/E components (BMS, E-Motor, Centrol controller, T-Box), automotive bus system including Flexray, Ethernet, SOME/IP, CAN, LIN, etc. and familiar with diagnostic tools such as CANoe/INCA/DTS, etc.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills, facilitating seamless interaction with cross-functional teams and with various hierarchy levels, stakeholders, and customers in technically comprehensive terms.
