
2nd Shift Quality Inspector - Metals Manufacturing
Job Description
- Accurately perform regulatory and internal customer specific testing
- Perform internal testing, internal checks, and cosmetic checks. Perform 1st piece inspections, receiving inspections, hydrocarbon testing as required by customer and/or regulatory specifications.
- Complete all lab work and paperwork.
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of physical properties
- Basic knowledge of quality cointrol and manufacturing processes
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong problem solving skills

- Good communication skills
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Must be able to comprehend and retain internal and regulatory requirements
- Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to stand on your feet for 8 hrs a day.
- Must be able to distinguish between part numbers and sizes
- Must be able to use micrometers, calipers and indicators
- Must understand and follow the quality policy and procedures
- Must be able to interpret gages and the use of them.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic
- Required OSHA safety training

Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
