Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Mill Maintenance Team. You are considered capable and with qualifications to install, repair and make good items in planned and unplanned maintenance. Working with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), we have responsibility to ensure all information recorded is as accurate as possible. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Consistent with Maintenance Department Classification Guideline;
Install new or overhauled equipment in a timely manner according to manufacturers recommendations;
Fabricate, overhaul, and install parts on fixed equipment installations, within time frames to be outlined by the Mechanical Supervisor;
Keep work areas and equipment clean and free of safety hazards on a continuous basis and conduct routine inspections of the workplace;
Perform preventative maintenance;
Repair equipment within planned time frames;
Conduct equipment inspections in response to Operations concerns or as outlined by a maintenance schedule;
Perform repairs in a cost effective, safe, and environmentally friendly manner to maximize equipment availability;
Communicate reports on maintenance and log repairs;
All other duties as may be assigned.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma;
Post-secondary Millwright course;
Must have good communication skills;
Able to set priorities and work with minimum supervision;
Accurate with measurements and take offs;
Experience in CMMS;
Teamwork and self-starting work ethic.
Your Work Schedule:
Schedule: 7/7 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
Compensation Statement
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
