Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager/Senior Manager, Credit Strategy based in Canada.
In this high-impact role, you will shape and evolve end-to-end credit strategy across a portfolio of consumer lending products, directly influencing how credit decisions are made, priced, and optimized.
You will sit at the intersection of credit risk, financial performance, and product strategy, using data-driven insights to expand responsible access to credit for Canadian consumers.
The role combines advanced analytical work with strategic decision-making, including segmentation design, portfolio optimization, and risk-return modelling.
You will build and refine credit frameworks that guide both day-to-day underwriting decisions and long-term portfolio direction.
A key focus will be balancing growth and risk by identifying underserved segments while ensuring strong portfolio performance and financial resilience.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Risk teams to translate insights into actionable credit policies and system changes.
This is a highly strategic role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys deep analytical work, and can influence senior stakeholders with confidence.
