Warehouse Associate

OVERVIEW The Warehouse Associate is responsible for processing and loading customer orders for shipment and serving as a backup Non-CDL driver to complete deliveries as needed ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Drive Non-CDL box truck (up to 26ft) to deliver commercial kitchen equipment to our customers Building and assembling equipment Scan in paperwork into shared drive Communicate daily with the contract department. Responsible for moving, stocking, receiving, and packing outbound warehouse merchandise. Unload and move heavy equipment (lift up to 50: push/pull up to 100 lbs.) Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations. Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts. Operates warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks. Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses 2-4 years of experience working in a Warehouse. *The duties and responsibilities described are not necessarily an exhaustive list. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: 2-4 years of experience Competencies: Teamwork, Time Management Experience driving a 16-26-foot box truck Comfortable driving regional driving routes as part of a two-man team Ability to lift up to 50lbs Basic mechanical/tool knowledge - Use basic hand tools (Phillips/flathead screwdrivers, ratches Basic computer literacy Hours: Monday – Friday from 6AM – 3:30PM
