Position Overview:
MP Materials is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our growing team. The Executive Assistant will support two senior executives: the Chief Communications Officer and the Chief Commercial Officer.
The ideal Executive Assistant will be highly organized and detail oriented. A successful individual in this role will be adaptable and efficient when owning initiatives requiring a level of autonomy and decision making based on guidance provided by the executive, such as managing various projects, outlining meeting structures, and creating agendas for events, owning calendars and travel arrangements, and partnering with other leaders of the organization with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Position Responsibilities:
- Own and manage calendar for the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Communications Officer.
- Track action items for every meeting with relevant context, pre-reads, and briefing materials.
- Arrange and manage detailed domestic and international travel – flights, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries.
- Build comprehensive trip briefs so executives arrive informed and prepared for every engagement.
- Handle sensitive correspondence, internal communications, and external outreach with absolute discretion.
- Ability to always maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Serves as a professional liaison between the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Communications Officer and key stakeholders including investors, board members, and other partners.
- Manage expense reporting and invoice processing for both executives.
- Support cross-functional projects by coordinating stakeholders, tracking milestones, and removing logistical barriers.
- Work collaboratively as part of the executive administrative team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- 4+ years of experience as an executive assistant with direct support to executive leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Presentation, Teams, etc.)
- Self-directed, resourceful, and highly organized.
- Strong writing and research skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
