The Department

The MSAT department at AGC Biologics oversees introduction, validation and commercialization of our GMP manufacturing processes. It consists of dedicated teams focusing on early-stage process transfer, late-stage process transfer, material science and commercial production. At AGC Biologics, we are constantly onboarding, validating and commercializing projects, each of them posing unique challenges at every different stage. With AGC Biologic´s increasing activities, we are looking for new student assistants to support the activities of the whole MSAT department.
You will be joining a team of 4 experienced student assistants who are supporting a team of  40 scientists and managers. Our workplace fosters a collaborative atmosphere characterized by open communication, mutual support, and a flexible approach across all teams. As a student assistant, you will communicate not only with scientists but also with fellow students, enhancing your collaborative skills and professional network.

The Job

Your responsibilities as a future student assistant within MSAT will include:

  • Drafting of GMP documents for the introduction of new raw materials and single use systems into AGC Biologics
  • Supporting our scientists in daily hands-on activities and ad-hoc tasks
  • Data integrity reviews
  • Maintaining various databases and reports
  • Collecting, compiling, processing and analyzing data. Identifying underlying trends and reporting anomalies
  • Support digitalization initiatives and process optimization efforts
  • Transferring of data and information across platforms

AGC Biologics is a dynamic and fast-moving company, where you will focus on a broad range of tasks. This role will provide you with valuable insights into the regulatory and practical aspects of biotechnological drug production under GMP while gaining work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.

About You!

We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive individual who is eager to learn about the biopharmaceutical industry. You should have a positive attitude, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to balance flexible working hours alongside your studies. You are willing to work at least 15h per week and you have demonstrated interest and proficiency in data analysis e.g. through coursework, projects or previous roles. You are a natural team player who enjoys collaborating with others and adapting to new challenges.

You are currently pursuing a B.Sc. or MSc. Degree in Biotechnology, Material Science, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering,  Data Science or a related field. Proficiency in MS Office programs is a must, with Power BI being a strong advantage. Professional fluency in English is essential.
