Job Description
Role Overview
The QC Team Member, under general supervision, performs quality control inspections and testing in accordance with established sampling and inspection standards to evaluate products at various stages of production. This role supports defect investigation and analysis, contributes to implementing effective countermeasures, and helps minimize impact to production operations. The position is also responsible for maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting QC equipment, while upholding a safe and organized work environment aligned with 5S principles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Monitor, inspect, and report on product quality, including workmanship, repairs, labeling accuracy, material allocation, and staging of both supplier-received and internally manufactured components.
- Perform QC inspections and testing at various production stages, including minor repairs in accordance with established procedures.
- Support investigation and analysis of quality issues and assist in development and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain adherence to quality standards, processes, and 5S practices within the QC area.
- Accurately document and input inspection and test results into the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Review analysis findings with supervisors and prepare reports as required.
- Ensure QC tools and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning as required.
- Participate in required training and support training of other QC personnel as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Maintain compliance with company policies related to safety, quality, housekeeping, and operational performance.
- Support flexible operations, including overtime (as needed) and rotation across roles or shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This role operates within defined corporate policies and procedures and exercises judgment appropriate to its level of responsibility. The position may influence decisions related to functional operations, processes, or recommendations and escalate matters as required

Required Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, high paced, or quality environment
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and effectively follow written procedures and instructions
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive, cooperative working relationships across teams
- Sound judgment with the ability to make timely, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify issues, follow through to resolution, and support implementation of corrective actions
