The Planner Buyer is responsible for ensuring the availability of direct materials by managing procurement processes and analyzing demand.
This role optimizes inventory levels, cost efficiency, and supply reliability while maintaining alignment between demand planning and supply execution.
The position supports effective communication across planning systems to ensure operational continuity and accurate demand control.
About Your Role:
Monitor and manage demand and consumption to determine purchasing requirements and placement of purchase orders.
Generate reports and track purchase orders within SAP/ERP systems, ensuring follow-up on acknowledgments and delivery status.
Participate in cross-functional meetings by providing supply and material availability insights.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies and maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
Analyze demand variability and propose mitigation actions to address shortages and excess inventory.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal regulations.
About Your Job:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
2–4 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or demand analysis within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of SAP, Excel, Power BI, and Lean methodologies
Experience in supplier negotiation, logistics coordination, and supply chain processes
Experience analyzing demand trends, seasonality, and variability
Ability to define inventory parameters such as safety stock based on consumption, lead time, and supplier reliability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate at different organizational levels
Results-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to manage supplier performance and develop improvement plans
Basic to intermediate English proficiency
