Responsibilities
Data Warehouse & Pipeline Development — Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and related cloud services.
Architecture Design — Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of Lakehouse, warehouse, and medallion architectures.
Solution Development — Build and maintain data warehouse solutions that support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
Quality Assurance — Ensure the accuracy, reliability, performance, and security of processed and stored data.
Monitoring & Optimization — Participate in monitoring activities, investigate issues, and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
Documentation & Governance — Document technical processes (e.g., in Confluence) and adhere to data governance and compliance best practices.
Cross Functional Collaboration — Work closely with architects, business analysts, data scientists, and project managers to deliver high quality data solutions.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of experience as Data Engineer with a strong background in Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
Strong proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Python, PySpark, SQL, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
Solid understanding of Lakehouse and medallion architectural patterns.
Strong commitment to documentation, code quality, and adherence to engineering standards.
Good knowledge of data warehouse concepts and best practices.
Experience working in a DevOps environment with strong version control skills (Git).
