Expected salary range of $133,200 to $148,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
Directly responsible for the supervision, assignment, and coordination of Outage Planning and Services (OP&S) operations and maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient outage activities consistent with Constellation Nuclear and clean energy center goals.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Effectively supervise craft personnel to assure all assigned maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively, by qualified workers, and in accordance with procedures, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations and the clean energy center(s) schedule.
- Participate in various aspects of work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings involving online and refuel outage activities, to ensure that assigned work is properly assigned, planned and ready to work.
- Effectively communicate and address plant and personnel issues to the appropriate levels of OP&S and station management. Foster open communications and collaboration between all organizations internal and external to OP&S, including site management, Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), and regulatory agencies.
- Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management for assigned employees. Ensure effective communication of company programs, announcements, policies, etc. to assigned employees.
- Understand, support, and administer all OP&S processes, such as the training program, surveillance program, procedure revisions, and corrective action program (CAP) to ensure effective work practices. Identify and support improvement opportunities and development, implementation and performance monitoring of all corporate and clean energy center business goals and objectives.
- Must be willing to travel 10-50% of time, which may be to another Constellation Clean Energy Center.
- All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, construction, computer science, mathematics, or physics) with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years of Constellation Reactor Services department experience OR
- Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years of Constellation Reactor Services experience department OR
- Associates/non-technical 4-year degree/completion or a relevant, skilled trades apprenticeship program (e.g., boilermaker, pipefitter, operating engineer) with 7 years of industry experience or 5 years of Constellation Reactor Services department experience OR
- High school diploma/GED with 9 years of industry experience or 7 years Constellation Reactor Services experience department
- Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

- OEM training as applies to discipline in reactor, turbine, or steam generator projects spell out highlighted portion
- Experience supervising maintenance craft personnel at an operational nuclear power plant
