Sobre a posição

A região LATAM precisa de um(a) gerente para liderar a entrega de compliance fiscal (impostos diretos e indiretos) e apoiar a elaboração das demonstrações financeiras estatutárias em toda a região.

A posição inclui a liderança de uma equipe de sete pessoas responsáveis por declarações fiscais e demonstrações financeiras no Brasil.

Fora do Brasil, a função opera em um modelo terceirizado, no qual um fornecedor externo é responsável pela elaboração das declarações fiscais e demonstrações financeiras.

O cargo também inclui a implementação das mudanças necessárias decorrentes da Reforma Tributária no Brasil.

Principais Responsabilidades

  • Garantir que todas as declarações fiscais e demonstrações financeiras na LATAM estejam corretas e entregues dentro do prazo, e que os pagamentos de impostos sejam realizados dentro dos prazos legais estabelecidos.

  • Identificar oportunidades para fortalecer os processos de compliance fiscal, eliminando riscos financeiros e reputacionais, e liderar a implementação dessas melhorias.

  • Monitorar a legislação tributária para garantir que os processos estejam sempre atualizados conforme mudanças na legislação.

  • Liderar a equipe responsável por atualizar os parâmetros fiscais nos sistemas da empresa e nos dados mestres (produtos, fornecedores e clientes).

  • Atuar em parceria próxima com o LATAM COE (Centro de Excelência) para garantir que todos os projetos implementados estejam corretamente refletidos nas declarações fiscais.

  • Apoiar o LATAM COE fornecendo informações fiscais precisas e no prazo para fins de reporte ao grupo, incluindo projeções de carga tributária e fluxo de caixa de impostos

Qualificações e Habilidades

  • Formação em Direito ou Contabilidade.

  • Especialista técnico em tributos no Brasil, com experiência tributária regional na LATAM.

  • Fluência em inglês, espanhol e português.

  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicação verbal e escrita, além de experiência em gestão de stakeholders.

  • Excelentes habilidades interpessoais, com experiência comprovada na construção de relacionamentos sólidos com stakeholders seniores.

  • Capacidade de resolver problemas complexos de forma independente, contribuir para decisões na sua área de atuação e liderar ou apoiar projetos como referência em melhores práticas.

  • Capacidade comprovada de gerar insights para gestão, simplificar complexidades e comunicar conceitos tributários de forma clara, inclusive para áreas não especializadas.

  • Perfil orientado a desafiar o status quo, com capacidade de liderar e impulsionar transformações e mudanças estruturais.

    About the role

    The LATAM region requires a manager to lead the delivery of tax compliance (direct and indirect), and support the delivery of statutory accounts across LATAM.  Includes leading a team of seven individuals who are responsible for tax returns and statutory accounts for Brazil. Outside of Brazil, the function operates an outsourced model whereby an external provider delivers the tax returns and statutory accounts.  The role also includes implementation of changes required due to Brazil Tax Reform.

    Key responsibilities

    • Ensure all tax returns and statutory accounts across LATAM are accurate and submitted on time, and that tax payments are made to the tax authorities within the relevant timeframes.
    • Identify ways to strengthen tax compliance processes to eliminate financial and reputational risk, and oversee implementation of such process improvements.
    • Monitoring of tax legislation in order to ensure processes are kept up to date for any changes in tax law. 
    • Lead a team who update fiscal parameters in the company's operating system and Master Data (Product, supplier and customer records).
    • Close partnering with the LATAM COE to ensure that all projects implemented are accurately reflected in tax returns.
    • Support the LATAM COE with providing accurate and timely tax numbers for Group reporting purposes, forecasting the tax charge and forecasting of cash tax.

    Qualifications and skills

    • Qualified lawyer or accountant.
    • Tax technical expert in Brazilian taxes with LATAM regional tax experience.
    • Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Excellent inter-personal skills - demonstrating experience of building strong business relationships with key senior stakeholders.
    • Ability to solve complex problems independently, contribute to decisions within area of expertise, and lead or support projects as a best‑practice resource.
    • Proven capability to deliver management insight, simplify complexity, and clearly articulate tax concepts to stakeholders including non-tax business partners.
    • Focus on challenging the status quo and ability to lead and drive transformational change.
