Job Description
- Participate in the planning and implementation of new production lines (layouts, process design, documentation in line with APQP, FMEA, work instructions)
- Prepare and implement production equipment for new projects, including investment planning and technology roadmap development
- Analyze and optimize existing production processes, tools, and fixtures to improve efficiency and ergonomics
- Evaluate production performance (OEE, scrap, cost per piece) and drive improvements during ramp-up and serial production
- Coordinate the installation of new machines and equipment in cooperation with suppliers and internal teams
- Ensure production readiness (e.g. tool plan, setting plan, spare parts) and support production in problem-solving
- Collaborate with departments such as Maintenance, Production, SCM, and Purchasing
- Support the implementation of standards, innovations, and continuous improvement activities
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (ESH) and ergonomic requirements
- University degree in a technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, etc.)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment / industrial engineering (ideally in the automotive industry)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and industrial engineering methods
- Experience with process optimization, lean principles, and quality tools
- Experience in project management and working in cross-functional teams
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across the organization and with suppliers
- Communicative level of English
