Position Summary

Shipping Officer

Duties

1) To supervise daily routine shipment such as arrangement of unloading and loading activities and others customer's requirement that can be fulfilled.

2) To carry out daily morning briefing with handler and bay operator.

3) To address any abnormalities to superior regards to shipment matters!

4) To liaise with customers in relation to shipment

To communicate effectively with customers about delivery and collection of consignments.

To ensure that customer product is dispatched correctly.

To assist Shipping Executive to liaise with Custom Department on Custom matters (LMW, M1, M2, M4, and value added activity renewal).

8 ) Coordinate with Production Planner/Officer on warehouse utilization, incoming delivery and outgoing collection. To communicate with Warehouse Controller regarding the product arrangement base on warehouse lay out and

procedure

10) All other responsibilities that commensurate with her experience and qualification as assign by his/her Manager

11) To coordinate with Warehouse Controller on ulilisation and adequate availabilities of space in warehouse. 12) To support in any improvement activity (Lean), 5S, 7 waste, BSPS and Kaizen.

13) To work and plan for the best action with his Superior for any Ad Hoc arrangement request by Gustomer

14) To ensure and comply with company rules, policies, QA procedures, safety and SOPs.

Required Experience

At least 2 years experience as Shipping Officer

Able to drive forklift

This position requires knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties involved, including regular communications outside the province of Quebec, training, email communications, and frequent meetings and interactions with English- only employees.
