Role

Reporting to the Global Director of Interior Design, the Interior Design Coordinator will be based in our Bangkok Corporate Office and will support the Interior Design team throughout the design process for collateral items and the execution of projects across the portfolio. The role will also coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure a smooth and consistent interior design review process from concept through to delivery.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and drafting technical drawings and detailed specifications for "designed collateral" (bespoke OSE)
  • Create standardised drawing packages and specifications
  • Coordinate with the pre-opening team on the master list of OSE
  • Source and coordinate with local and international suppliers and artisans to bring bespoke designs from paper to physical reality.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of prototypes and mock-up rooms, including shop drawing reviews and factory visits for quality inspections.
  • Research and test new materials and finishes to ensure they meet the rigorous durability standards required for global hospitality environments.
  • Troubleshooting design flaws during the prototyping phase to ensure items are scalable, shippable, and easy to maintain across multiple territories.
  • Support in coordination with TS directors and their Design manager on the interior design reviewing process

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Interior Design or Architecture, with a specialised focus on Luxury Hospitality (5-star hotels, luxury resorts, or high-end F&B).
  • Autocad, Microsoft 365, Photoshop and Hand sketch
  • A proven track record of contributing to international luxury projects, demonstrating an understanding of "high-touch" guest experiences and premium material palettes.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects that require coordination across different time zones and cultural design standards.
