Job Description

Ensures the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of employee data within the corporate HR information management system. Collaborates with the TS department and the HR functional process teams, this role aligns system inputs while providing support through reporting and data access. As a point of contact and subject matter expert, provides critical employee record information to HR teams, organizational leadership, and audit entities.
Aides in handling the full life cycle of employee records, including legacy systems, and is responsible for report writing, system testing, and process improvement analysis. Assists in relationships related to system maintenance and data integrity. Additionally, supports the department manager on key projects as needed
  • Ensures an accurate connection between organizational position assignments and the supporting financial budget.
  • Assists HR employees with business intelligence tools and systems.
  • Recommends system upgrades, process improvements, and strategic initiatives to enhance HRIS functionality.
  • Troubleshoots system issues, conducts testing after updates, and ensures quality assurance for system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Participates in projects aimed at improving employee record data management practices.
  • Supports documentation and maintenance of HRIS processes.
  • May assist in maintaining the HRIS SharePoint page, providing instructions for managers and employees accessing records.
  • Provides reports and data queries to internal business partners outside of HR as needed.
  • Contributes to the preparation of communications on employee record-related matters.
  • Upholds confidentiality and security protocols for all HR information and systems.
  • Ensures timely, effective, and highly accurate data production and mining practices.
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all levels of JEA employees.
  • Complies with all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the organizational structure in the HRIS system.
  • Performs other job-related work as assigned.
 
 
 
Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, accounting, public administration, mathematics, business or other closely related field
AND
Experience: Five (5) years of professional experience working with a corporate HR Management System or enterprise Financial System performing record management, data extraction, analysis and reporting; preferably in a utility, municipal or other government environment.  Must have exceptional data management, analytical and communication skills.
OR 
An equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.

The minimum salary for this position is $76,500 annually. Compensation will be determined based on education, licenses, certifications, skills, experience, and alignment with salaries for similar roles within the organization.
