About the Role The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure a high quality customer experience for our guests, including food quality, health and sanitation, and general guest service. What You'll Do Support the mission and vision of Concordia College and demonstrate the competencies as defined for this position. Supervise the Residential Dining Center during assigned shifts and ensure the highest standards of customer service are being met. Supervise and give direction to Dining Services employees and Student Managers. Provide training and guidance for employees. Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines according to local, county, state, and federal food code guidelines, including but not limited to proper handwashing; correct single-use glove use; uniform standards; general cleanliness; date marking; temperature documentation; and corrective actions as needed. Summer duties are based on operational needs, including but not limited to Contract Services, Catering, Culinary, Deliveries, and Retail. Assist with ordering food and food-related supplies for Anderson Commons. Assist in menu forecasting and menu planning. Ensure documentation of product usage and record usage in menu management software. Assist with planning and execution of Dining Services programs and special events. Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
