Lead Project Engineer Mechanical

Summary

Offer in-depth technical guidance and direction within the area of expertise. Serve as the primary contact for situations requiring advanced technical knowledge. Act as a representative for the company with external stakeholders, embodying the firm's commitment to technical excellence and professional integrity. 

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in technical reviews (e.g. design reviews) as a technical authority – approve and reject technical solutions  

• Actively participate in project meetings with cross - functional team members, suppliers, and/or customers 

• Drive innovative and reliable designs from technology development until customer satisfaction in his field of specialization 

• Train and coach Team Members inside and across in his field of specialization  

• Perform knowledge management and maintain an expertise networks by documenting the expertise 
• Liaise with the Project Management Office to establish, implement and maintain operating standards to ensure quality project results and customer satisfaction 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the industry, including experience in his field of specialization 

• Insightful, able to collaborate with other management team members in developing strategy and implementing business plans 

• Proven ability to work in a matrix organization 

• Advanced know-how in 3D CAD tool, preferably with plant layout design experience
• Proficiency in English language
