Real Estate Loan Processor
Job Description

As a processor you will be responsible for performing a variety of loan pre-processing and processing functions-- from receipt of loan documentation through preparation of package for loan closing while ensuring timely, accurate and cost effective support of the Bank’s lending operations. You’ll be able to help contribute to this by:
Job Duties:
- Verify all corresponding information to files to ensure all documentation is obtained and complete for a sound file.
- Prepare loan documentation and thoroughly review work for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance in all areas of real estate lending.
- Communicate with co-workers, loan officers, title companies and attorneys to satisfy loan conditions, as well as provide the status of the loan applications in process.
- Solve problems and seek alternative solutions when necessary.
- Proactively and independently monitor multiple files and process workflow to ensure a timely completion for closing.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations including, but not limited to HMDA, RESPA, Fair Lending Practices, Regulation Z, etc.
- Implementation of new policies and procedures based on work flow and regulations.
- Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection.
- Complying with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Completing and passing all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
- Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management

- Advanced PC Skills (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Adobe).
- Ability to work in multiple operating systems and multi-task within each program accordingly.
Education, Experience & Licenses:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- College degree in finance, business or other directly related field preferred, or equivalent of experience combined with education in accounting or finance.
- Minimum one year previous experience in banking, loan origination, loan processing and/or loan review.
Work Location: Guaranty Bank and Trust in Mt Pleasant, TX. Must live within 30 minutes of the location listed below.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
