Geographical Scope / Sales Centers Supported

The position is responsible for marketing leadership and coordination for the following Sales Centers (SC), managed through APC Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

  • SC India
  • SC Korea
  • SC Thailand
  • SC Singapore
  • SC Indonesia
  • SC Malaysia
  • SC Japan
  • Asia Pacific Support Centre- Vietnam

Position Purpose

The Head of Marketing – India & South East Asia is a strategic leadership role responsible for providing a clear market vision, driving regional market development, and ensuring integrated, high-impact customer and business support across India and South/East Asia. The role acts as the single point of contact for supported Sales Centers and ensures full alignment with Endress+Hauser global strategy and standards.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Overall Role Scope & Leadership

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for total Marketing for designated international Sales Centers.
  • Oversee Marketing, Technical Support, Pricing Strategy, Commercial Excellence, Application and Product Support, Order Handling Support, and After-Sales Service (where feasible).
  • Ensure full alignment with Endress+Hauser global strategy, standards, and governance.

Market Development & Business Growth

  • Define and communicate a clear market vision and strategy for India and South/East Asia with strong customer and market orientation.
  • Define, execute, and follow up market development plans together with local Sales Centers.
  • Drive significant sales revenue growth, increased market penetration, and enhancement of the Endress+Hauser brand.
  • Make strategic decisions on market approach and pricing in close cooperation with E+H TS headquarters.
  • Gather market information: customer, industry and competition insights to feed the innovation process to shape future offerings/ portfolio

Customer & Sales Center Support

  • Ensure best-in-class support to markets and customers through integrated and efficient processes.
  • Serve as a trusted and well-accepted business partner for the Temperature business across the region.
  • Enable Sales Centers through pricing concepts, application expertise, and commercial excellence initiatives.

Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead the organization towards operational excellence across marketing and support functions.
  • Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams across the entire E+H TS Group.

People Leadership & Organizational Impact

  • Lead, develop, and inspire the regional Marketing organization to deliver sustainable performance.
  • Drive organizational capability building, talent development, and succession planning aligned with long-term business needs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement aligned with Endress+Hauser values.

 

Qualifications

Academic degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines; additional business or management qualifications are an advantage.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive professional experience in B2B marketing, including senior leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in process automation or related industries.
  • Proven track record of generating substantial sustainable sales growth in a given territory, industry or channel.
  • Strong understanding of local and regional markets across India and South/East Asia.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple Sales & Marketing domains, including pricing and technical marketing.
  • Experience working within a global matrix organization is preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional regional or international languages are an advantage.
