School Year 2026-2027 - Secondary Special Education Teacher


Cab Calloway is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic individual to join our talented and dedicated Special Education Department.

This position is scheduled to service both middle and high school students (push-in, small group, and case management) in our creative, vibrant school community. Strongly prefer Social Studies, Science, and Math. 

Qualifications:
Certification in Special Education
Certification or willingness to obtain certification in English, Science, Math, and Social Studies.
Desire to collaborate with a dynamic team of special education and content-area teachers to scaffold and deliver curriculum to meet the needs of all students
Ability to clearly communicate with families and staff
Experience providing instruction to students in an inclusive classroom setting
Case management experience preferred
Understanding of Schoology or equivalent platform for grading, assignments, lessons, etc.

Required Certificate(s):
Delaware Advanced License
Delaware Continuing License
Delaware Initial License
Certified in Core Content
