Overview WHO YOU ARE AT PANASONIC CANADA: Panasonic Canada Inc. is currently looking to hire for the position of Lead Coordinator – Supply Planning & Procurement. Performs all duties normally associated with the Coordinator, Supply Planning and Procurement, for assigned products. In addition, on a Category Group basis (A/V, AP), provides senior level guidance to the Supply Planning and Procurement Coordinator(s) by reviewing and consolidating the supply plan, representing the Supply Planners at the Consensus meeting. Analyze data from demand planning, inventory reports etc. to anticipate and correct Supply issues. Ensure inventory levels are maintained within Budget guidelines. Collaborate with Accounting, Sales, Marketing and Factories and SCM team to ensure Supply Plan meets demand. Review and initiate changes to Supply plan and run heuristics when needed. Provide direction on process improvement, system set up enhancement. This is a full-time position. This position is hybrid. Any office-based work will be performed from our Mississauga office at Ambler Drive. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the time of application. Responsibilities WHAT YOU’LL DO: Lead development, review, and optimization of Supply Plans at the Category Group level, ensuring alignment with IBP, MRP, and demand forecasts Analyze demand, inventory, and supply data to anticipate risks, resolve issues, and recommend forecast or supply adjustments Guide and support Coordinators by consolidating supply plans and representing the team in Consensus meetings with actionable recommendations Ensure accurate and aligned supply forecasts, including MOQ, lead times, plant allocation, and network requirements Execute and adjust supply plans to meet customer demand, budget targets, and operational constraints Oversee and manage product procurement, including PO creation, load optimization, expediting shipments, and factory coordination Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Factories, Customs, and SCM to resolve supply and logistics issues Maintain and validate master data and system accuracy across SAP, IBP, and related platforms, including product setup and forecasting parameters Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and data integrity initiatives while acting as a subject matter expert on planning tools Prepare reports, manage special processes (MSS, promotional POs, inventory disposal), and support ongoing operational and project-based activities Qualifications MUST-HAVES: Post-secondary degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and progressive experience 5+ years of experience in supply planning, procurement, or a related field Strong working knowledge of planning systems and tools, including SAP, IBP, and EWM Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general business communication tools Solid understanding of supply planning processes, policies, and IBP system functions (data entry, reporting, alerts, scheduling) Ability to analyze detailed data, evaluate alternatives, and provide guidance at the Category Group level Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders, including factories and internal teams WHAT YOU’LL EARN: The annual wage range for this position is $52,000 - $70,000 CAD. Actual compensation offered to the selected incumbent will vary depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills and experience related to the role.
