Job Description
CLPe was established in 1985 and is wholly owned by CLP Holdings Limited. It is dedicated to promoting the transition to low-carbon energy and sustainable development in Hong Kong and cities across the Chinese Mainland, assisting the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Nation in achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and 2060 respectively. CLPe provides energy infrastructure and one-stop smart energy management solutions for customers in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland, empowering them to accelerate their green transition and achieve low-carbon, high-efficiency energy management.
We are looking for a high caliber professional to join our Operation Department as Senior Project Engineer (Operation & Maintenance). Key responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of engineering technician to supervise the daily operation of the chiller plant to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Responsible for effective plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Diagnose and resolve operational issues promptly to avoid disruptions in cooling services.
- Continuously monitor chiller plant performance metrics, including energy consumption, cooling output, and system pressures, and implement improvements as needed.
- Prepare regular facilities management energy reports and chiller plant performance analysis consumption/expenditure management reporting.
- Assist in the development of energy management standards and guidelines for operations.
- Lead, train, and monitor the operations team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and incidents; prepare regular reports.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other departments to ensure smooth plant operations and timely procurement of parts and services.
- Monitor site progress, attend site inspection and site meetings with relevant parties for site works coordination
- Other ad-hoc duties and shift duty as assigned
Requirements:
- A recognized University degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical or relevant engineering disciplines plus a minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience OR Higer Diploma / Associate Degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical or relevant engineering disciplines plus a minimum of 4 years’ relevant working experience
- Working experience in and / or knowledge in and familiar with HVAC operation procedures would be an advantage
- Hard working, able to meet tight schedule and work independently with solid technical background
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Possession of Construction Worker Registration Card and Construction Industry Safety Card
- Possession of a valid driving license is preferable
- Holder of Registered Electrical Worker would be an advantage
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for lower position
